Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Bridge of Life Community Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
TRINITY
God exists as one entity in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity serves an individually different function and purpose, yet they each possess the equal power and authority. God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity.

THE FATHER
God is love. He is awesome, all powerful, all knowing, with us everywhere we turn, never changing, never forsaking, holy, and perfect. God is great. He is our Father in Heaven, always watching over us with compassion.

THE SONS
Jesus Christ. Completely human, yet completely God. Jesus is the only way and plan for people to be brought back into a right relationship with God. He was born of a virgin birth, lived a perfect life, and was the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He was buried, resurrected, and lives today.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit guides us in our everyday walk with God. He exalts God and the truth. He convicts people of their sin, comforts us and has sanctifying power to enable each of us to overcome our obstacles to become more like Christ through His holiness. The Holy Spirit is promised to all believers, subsequent to salvation, as the entrance into a Spirit filled life including: baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and for the gifts and power to be witnesses and anointed workers for God.

THE BIBLE
The Bible is God's Holy word to all people. Written by human authors under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is God's very word, therefore it is truth, without any error and relevant to our lives

ETERNITY
Man will exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in unity with God through salvation. The punishment for sin is Hell. The gift of God through salvation is a union with Him in Heaven. Heaven and Hell are real, and are eternal places for existence.

MAN
Man was created by God, in the image of God. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated from God through disobedience; Sin. Man cannot get back to a right relationship with God except through the forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ.

SALVATION
Salvation, and the only way to restore a relationship with God is through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of sin. By placing faith in the death and ressurection of Christ as payment for sin we are saved. There is nothing we can do to be saved other than through Jesus Christ.
